Rules and Caveats
Junior golfers (under 18) cannot book carts (they cannot be the driver for insurance reasons)
Only Tropics members can book into “competition” events. Members with handicaps from other clubs must book through the pro shop, or have a member book them in as a public golfer (or GA Visitor if we have set that player type for the person)
“Group” events will vary in their pricings and online booking availability, depending on the event.
Walking Only Times
As part of managing our current cart fleet, there will be times when a round of golf can be booked, but not a cart. Most, but not all of these are during “competition” events. Potential walking only times listed below:

Additionally, on Saturdays when Brother’s Leagues Club are playing, there will be online bookings available for walking 9 holes only rounds. Up to 7:44 in winter and up to 6:56 in summer.
Operator Override
All of the above applies especially to online bookings, but is also considered operational policy. However, all of these rules and exceptions can be overridden by the pro shop staff operating light speed from the counter. Eg. A late cart cancellation may open up the opportunity for the staff to sell a cart hire during walking only times.
